Ceramiche Refin at Cersaie 2025
Ceramiche Refin’s stand at Cersaie 2025, held in Bologna in September, was designed by Studio Salaris as a versatile space where architectural elements such as pillars, partitions and platforms become an integral part of the display.
Inspired by influential 20th century Italian architect, Carlo Scarpa, the stand was created as a space of transition and meditation and reflects the Japanese aesthetic where light, shadow and matter interact to produce a sensory journey. The display of the new surfaces takes place in a sequence of museum-like niches, where each set is conceived as a micro-landscape, shaped around the host material so as to highlight its features. As visitors moved through a gradual, continuous path glimpses were revealed of the next space, creating an uninterrupted narrative and inviting discovery.
Refin’s philosophy for Cersaie 2025 was “The Shape of Unexpected – Hybrid Materials”, renewing its investment in research and experimentation that seeks to take ceramics beyond its function and to allow it to become an expressive medium.

Osmos (above) offers an innovative interpretation of cement where stratification gives rise to an organic, material graphic effect. This visually rich collection is particularly detailed when viewed up-close, featuring marble-like veins, mineral inclusions and elements of nature. Five shades are available: Calce (soft white), Cenere and Nebbia (cool greys), Tortora and Ruggine (warm tones) with all colours available in matte finish and three (Calce, Nebbia and Tortora) available in the C2 Grip finish to allow for seamless in-and-out continuity.

Ink (above) stands out for its graphic symbolism with its distinctive detail that emphasises the fluid motion of the ever-changing patterns to shift the perception of the surface depending on distance and layout. Ink is available in three neutral shades (Pure White, Grace Grey and Bold Black), three warm tones (Earthy, Blush and Cozy Beige) as well as two deep hues (Wavy Blue and Quiet Green). The lustre-enhanced texture provides a multisensory experience.

Prestigio Kaleidos (above) is an iridescent veined marble interpretation with a highly contemporary graphic design, updated in a symphony of original shades. The palette blends classic and neutral tones such as Diamante White, Ambra Beige and Perla Grey with intense, highly expressive hues such as Zaffiro Blue, Smeraldo Green and Agata Brown – all available in both gloss and matte finishes.

Eras (above) is an aesthetic merge of slate and sandstone for a fluid, authentic expression. The collection is available in six shades including Black, Greige, Grey, Ivory, Sand and White which are enriched with a three-dimensional Tweed relief (in Grey, Sand and White) plus two mosaic themed decorative options, available in all the collection’s colour variants.
