In traditional manufacturing, each soldered module on a linear LED source has its own printed circuit and requires precise and continuous power to function correctly. In this set-up, a careless or misplaced cut—especially over a diode—can damage the module, create dark spots, or even cause a short circuit, rendering the entire strip unusable.
Developed by Domus Line’s R&D department, this breakthrough is based on a new design logic: each diode becomes an independent unit. Even if a cut occurs directly over a LED, only that single point is interrupted—the rest of the strip continues to work flawlessly, without any failures.
