Gruppo Bardelli at Cersaie 2025
At this year’s Cersaie, held in Bologna in September, Gruppo Bardelli unveiled a new exhibition concept that brought together the brands Ceramica Bardelli, Ceramica Vogue and Appiani in a single spatial narrative.
This immersive installation told the story of the new collections through interplays of material, form and colour, in a project that placed ceramics and architecture as key partners.
Visitors were welcomed by a 20-meter-long architectural structure, fully clad on the exterior with 10cm x 10cm tiles in a light beige tone, reminiscent of the colour of raw ceramic. The Vogue System by Ceramica Vogue, in a custom colour, formed the outer skin while, inside, visitors were taken on a visual journey through totems, cuts of light and chromatic layering. Each element was designed to create a dialogue between the collections while investigating hierarchies of dimension, texture and colour.

From the blue of Ceramica Bardelli’s Sinfonia in the 10cm x 10cm format and the Sea Maioliche line from Acquatic Creatures, to the deep bordeaux of the Flautini and Vogue System collections by Ceramica Vogue; from the green of Sinfonia 10cm x 20cm by Ceramica Bardelli and Pastelli by Appiani, to the yellow of Ritmo by Ceramica Bardelli and Coriandoli by Appiani; and finally to the sand tones of Mongolfiere and Atlantis City from Acquatic Creatures by Ceramica Bardelli, each totem showcases new colours and materials, creating a play of contrasts between matte and glossy finishes, and between flat and dimensional surfaces.

The goal was to display the distinctive traits of each brand; Appiani’s modular and versatile approach, Ceramica Bardelli’s decorative vocation, and Ceramica Vogue’s design-driven use of colour.

Architettura by Gruppo Bardelli received the ADI Booth Design Award at Cersaie 2025, which recognises exhibition booths that best promote a company’s products and brand value within the trade show itself. Designed by Leonardo Talarico in synergy with Gianmaria Bardelli, the installation was recognised for its “timeless composure and simplicity…combined with a careful and conscious study of optimal lighting [which conveyed] the expressive qualities of the products, highlighting and enhancing their formal aspects”.
