Tonelli Design at Euroluce 2025
At the recent Euroluce, held in Milan last April, Tonelli Design previewed three new lamps; the sculptural and scenic Cathedral, the cosmopolitan Rook and the iconic Hyperion.
Cathedral
The name of this sculptural suspension lamp, designed by Studio 14, is fitting as it clearly defines the essence of this new light. With a majestic and refined structure, designed by Diego Bassetti and Andrea Panzieri of Studio 14, every detail of Cathedral is designed to reflect light in an enchanting play of transparencies and shadows.
Each module is made with metal and glass slats which, arranged geometrically, create a dynamic, almost sculptural, visual effect. The slats, finished with precision to ensure a solid-yet-light structure, and the glass that diffuses light softly, make the environment warm and welcoming. The contrast between the solidity of the metal and the transparency of the glass gives the Chandelier a sophisticated character, ideal for modern and classy environments. As the light passes through the glass an donto the metal surface, it creates plays of reflections to enrich any interior atmosphere and create a focal point of the room.
Rook
Designed by renowned eclectic designer Karim Rashid, the Rook lamp is noted for its balance of shape and colour. Created using a glass mouth-blowing technique, Rook has a handcrafted charm with unique imperfections that give each piece its own story. The diffusion of light through the shiny and opaque colored glass creates a lively and pleasant atmosphere. Rook is available in Dark Amber, Smoked, Bronze and Peafowl Green glass.
Hyperion
This Hyperion collection, designed by Massimo Castagna, was expanded with two new table lamp versions, in two dimensions of the rounded cube-shaped glass. Each unit can be used individually or combined in different heights and widths to create impact.
Each lamp is made from glass elements with rounded cubic shapes and a structure in metal. The hanging version is available in a chandelier with five glass cubes or a vertical version with four glass cubes, which can also be installed as multiple lamps at different heights. Metal parts available in polished chrome, polished gold and polished gunmetal.
