TUBES wins 2025 iF DESIGN AWARD for DOTS.
Designed by Ludovica Serafini+Roberto Palomba, DOTS. by Tubes has won a prestigious 2025 iF Design Award in the Building Technology category.
This prestigious award, presented annually by iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hanover, celebrates excellence in design on a global scale. Selected from nearly 10,700 entries from 66 countries, Tubes’ DOTS. captivated the jury of 131 independent experts with its refined combination of functionality and styling.
Its elegant and modular design offers interior designers extensive compositional freedom, enabling single or multiple installations to create personalised and enchanting configurations.
Beyond its decorative value, DOTS. was recognised for its innovative, extra-low voltage operation (24 volts) which ensures maximum safety even in humid environments, making it perfect for installation in walk-in showers, above bathtubs, and in wellness spaces like spas, hotels, and yachts.
The awards ceremony, which will celebrate the winners distinguished by their innovation and design excellence, will take place on 28th April at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin.

The company’s partnership with Ludovica Serafini+Roberto Palomba began in 2004 with the creation of the Elements collection of radiators and heated towel rails that were immediately lauded for their sculptural appeal. Subsequently, Tubes launched the Plug&Play line, an innovative portable designer heating solution, and also introduced heating accessories designed to also enhance comfort. The brand boasts partnerships with leading names in international design and has won a large number of awards, including the prestigious Compasso d’Oro ADI in 2018.
